First Peter chapter two and verse nine declares, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal prietshood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" Here in this verse the Apostle Peter makes an analogy or likens the church to a couple of different things. In this teaching you will gain a better understanding of teh role of the Royal Priesthood in seeing thath Israel had a priesthood, but the NT Church is a Priesthood.
